Autograph Letter Signed to 'Dearest Alice' (probably his daughter), 1 page 8vo, 2 Palace Gate, Kensington, 'Sunday' no date. Apologising for failing to come to dine, explaining that he had been out with [his daughter] Mary in the damp, chilly weather and had developed a 'scrapy & uncomfortable' throat.
