Autograph Letter Signed to Harwood, 2½ pages 8vo on black-edged paper (small hole on the last page), Royal College of Music, 29 July 1906. Asking that a notice of his 'terminal lecture' be placed in the Gazette.
'... The title I propose is "The functions of thematic material in musical organization". ...'
A breakdown in health caused Parry to resign his beloved post at Oxford, where he wrote incidental music for Oxford University Dramatic Club's productions as well as delivering successful lectures.
