The Vice Chancellor of Oxford, & of Cambridge, both countenanced the bill on this subject to Parliament, and the corporations of both will petition parliament to have a Bill passed prohibiting Bear & bull baits Badger and Dog fights and such like sports if barbarous cruelty can be so demonstrated. ...'
