FORSTER, Edward Morgan (1879-1970). Novelist.
Autograph Letter Signed to [Constance Miles] ('Dear Madam') on a correspondence card (creased with a pin rust stain), Reform Club, 23 November 1932. Thanking his correspondent for sending him a copy of Lady Richard in the Larder and assuring her that he is looking forward to reading it.

The book in question was published in September 1932, written by Constance Miles, who is better known for her book Mrs Miles's Diary: The Wartime Journal of a Housewife on the Home Front. She was the daughter of Sir William Robertson Nicoll, founder of The Bookman.
