Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed Major, 1½ pages 8vo, New Bond Street, London, 29 April 1883. Asking after him and explaining he has been in Germany. Accompanied by a letter from Evan Jones, United States Consul in Newcastle upon Tyne, to Mr Spence, explaining that he is enclosing General Fairchild's signature, May 1883.
