FREDERICK II, The Great (1712-1786). King of Prussia.
Letter Signed ('Fr' with a flourish) to the Heredity Marshal Baron von Pallandt, 1 page 4to in characteristic pale ink with blank leaf, Potsdam 5 November 1751. With a full transcript of the original German, and an English translation.
'My noble, very dear and loyal subject, I have duly received your letter of the 26th of last month together with snipes you sent for Me with it; I am obliged to you for the attention you have shown in this way, and for the rest I remain your well-disposed king.'
