Autograph Letter Signed to Lady Lawrence, 4 pages 8vo, 3 Bolton Street, but on United Service Club paper altered to 'Athenaeum' by James in ink, 'Sunday noon', no date. Explaining that he had just arrived from Liverpool, where he had landed on Thursday ('& waited over there to give a send-off to some friends who sailed for America', and proposing a visit to Dorking the following Sunday.
