Good Autograph Letter Signed to R S Mackenzie, 3 pages 16mo on black-edged paper, 6 July 1848. Together with an obituary notice from a periodical, laid down and dated 2 January 1857 in ink.
'Thanks, my dear Boy, for your obliging note. I shall look for next No of Weekly Times with much curiosity: for you give me much pleasure by saying you have read my vol a second time with increased satisfaction ... "The Britannia" has given a favourable, & honest notice ... I expect Mitford will devote some pages of Gents Mag to it ... Vincent has given a short account. ...'
