Telling Brooke that he will be at the Langham tomorrow at the usual time before leaving for Brussels, and asking about the specimen page of the miniature score. '... I shall be at the Langham tomorrow at the usual time & go on to Brussels at 9 oc. If you have anything to ask me will you come to see me as usual. ... What about the specimen page of the miniature score?'Elgar had completed his Second Symphony a week earlier.
