Four Autograph Letters Signed to Miss Heyes of the University of Birmingham, 4 pages 4to and 8vo with three envelopes, Christ Church, Oxford, January and February 1973. Discussing visits to the university and matters such as trains, expenses and a lost cheque, and telling her that he had enjoyed himself immensely.
'... I have to be in Coventry on Jan 28th speaking at the Lanchester Arts Festival ... where the arrangements are in the hands of Richard Jarman Esq. I understand that he will be able to take me to Birmingham by car. ...'
'Thank you for your letter. I should guess that £2.
['10' - deleted] 50p would cover my expenses. ...'
'Like an idiot I've gone and lost the cheque you sent me. Could you cancel it and send me another. Terribly sorry.'
