PELHAM, Henry (1694-1754). Prime Minister 1743-1754. Document Signed, 1 page folio (?cut down), St James's, 26 March 1750. A warrant signed by Pelham, and two other commissioners of the treasury, for the payment of £869 19s 10d to Augustus Schutz, master of the robes, to defray the expenses of his office. This is quite probably a royal warrant from which the signature of George II has been removed from the head, which is probably trimmed and has an irregular tear. [No: 20881]
