Two Autograph Letters Signed ('Frieda' and 'F') to a friend ('Dear Grace'), 4 pages small 4to on monogrammed paper, Kingsley Hotel, Hart Street etc., ca 1930-1932. Excusing herself from an engagement on the grounds that Pollinger ('the German publisher for Lady C') was coming, and mentioning a court case (not the Lady C. prosection, which was of course in 1960).
'I have just arrived, a telegram from Medley the lawyer called me from Vence. The case is coming on next Thursday. Please come to tea to-morrow, all of you ...'
