Autograph Letter Signed to Monsieur [Nicolas-Jean Baptiste] Tripier, ½-page 4to with integral address-leaf and remains of red wax seal, La grange, 27 May 1817. Informing M Tripier that he will visit his son in Paris during July and wishes that 'notre affaire Suffren' could be finished by then.
Other letters of this period to Tripier mention the Marquis de Suffren de Saint Tropez.
