LODGE'S PEERAGE
Collection of letters relating to Lodge's Peerage, in all 22 items (24 pages, some wear), 1829-1842, where dated. The letters provide corrections for the new 1842 edition of the Peerage.
Corrections come from the Duke of Rutland, the Duke of Somerset, Sir Arthur Rumbold, Lord Galloway, the Marquis of Anglesey, Lord Shaftesbury,and the Duke of Roxburghe, amongst others.
Also included is the printed letter requesting corrections which elicited the answers included.
