CHERUBINI, Luigi (1760-1842). Italian composer.
Autograph Letter Signed in French to Delatour, perhaps the Parisian publisher, 1 page 4to with integral blank (a little worn), Paris 17 April 1841. Thanking him for a volume of history by Silvio Pellico and for his kind letter, and offering him in return a little canon (not present) inscribed in an album.
'... Je vous prier, en consequence, d'agréer le faible echange du petit canon, que j'ai tracé dans votre album; ayant l'honneur de vous offrir, celui-ci, j'ai l'avantage d'être, avec la considération la plus distinguée ...' etc.
