Autograph Letter Signed to Charles Reed ('M.P.F.S.A.'), 4 pages 8vo, Newark, 21 April 1869. A description of the new edition of his Singers & Songs of the Church, containing material pertaining to Reed's father (Dr Andrew Reed, philanthropist and Congregational minister).
'... This edition is 1500, & I am as yet reaping only the praises not the rewards of literature.
