NOVIKOFF, Olga (1848-1925). Russian journalist, propagandist & reputed agent.
Autograph Letter Signed to Mrs A Merrillers, 1 page 8vo with envelope, 23 April 1892. Proudly declaring that 'not one Kopeck, out of all the subscriptions, has been used on behalf of our own ex-serfs (those have been all fed with our private means). Is it not good?'.
She also encloses autographs (no longer included) of Kinglake and Gladstone, both of whom were in her circle. She closes the letter with a wistful 'Do not forget me!'.
