HARDY, Sir Thomas Masterman (1769-1839). Vice-admiral. Captain of the Victory at Trafalgar.
Document Signed, 1 page folio on vellum, partially printed, with paper seal of the Admiralty and revenue stamps, Admiralty, 1 December 1830. Appointing Richard Longfield Davies a commander in the fleet. Also signed by G[eorge] H[eneage] L[awrence] Dundas, and countersigned by Sir John Barrow (1764-1848).
Hardy and Dundas had both been appointed commissioners of the admiralty on 15 November 1830.
