Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed correspondent, 1½ pages 8vo on black-edged paper (conjoint leaf missing, two filing holes, not affecting the text), 15 Cranley Place, Onslow Square, 18 June no year. Asking that three poems of William Johnson Cory be included in the lyrical selection of his Golden Treasury.
William John Cory (1823-1892), was a poet and educator whose fame lives on in the lyrics he wrote for the Eton Boating Song.
