Autograph Letter Signed to [Edward James] Milliken (1839-1897, editor of Punch), 3 pages 8vo, on writing paper of the National Club, as from St John's Wood, no date. Telling Milliken, who is suffering from a bout of diptheria, how much he is missed at the Punch offices.
'... Come back soon: the table is dull; and just now very scantily attended, and in your absence ideas for cartoons come sluggishly. And furthermore the room is empty at 10.15! ...'
