GEORGE II (1683-1760). King of Great Britain and Ireland. Elector of Hanover.
Document Signed (twice, at the head of each side), 2 pages large folio, St James's, 24 June 1737. A warrant for the deduction of 12 pence in the pound from the pay of the forces towards the support of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, countersigned by George Dodington, Lords Sundon and Winnington.
The reverse of the documents lists the garrisons alphabetically from Berwick to the Isle of Wight with the amounts payable per diem and per annum.
 A little soiled and worn with small repairs, but in generally good condition.
