Autograph Letter Signed to Lord Carnarvon (Herbert Henry Molyneux, fourth Earl of), 1 page 8vo with blank leaf (remains of mount to the verso, 19 Warwick Crescent, 25 May 1879. Recommending that he should buy Macready's 'Journals and Letters'.
'It occurs to me - what I did not think of when you asked last evening if the Macready Journals & Letters were worth purchase - that they have lately become decidedly so: being compressed into a single volume at a reduced price. ...'
