Autograph Letter Signed to a gentleman ('Pregiatissimo Signore'), 1 page 8vo with integral blank on square-ruled paper, Pallanza, 26 December 1896.
'You should have received a letter from your mother explaining that I am sending you this bill of exchange for 2055 lire, to replace the other for 2000 lire which expires at the end of the year. As you will see, I have added the 5% interest to the sum, together with 5 lire for the stamp duty.As soon as you withdraw the previous bill, please be so kind as to send it to me.
