SAINT-SAENS, Camille (1835-1921). French pianist, organist and composer.
Autograph Letter Signed in French and Italian, to 'Carissimo' [Signorina de Bittencourt], 1 page small 4to, Rue de Courcelles [Paris], 26 January 1916. Telling her that "Helene" is to be presented on 16 March at Monte Carlo and that he will then be free and will be spending some days in Milan before going to Rome.
The formal ending of the letter is in Italian, and there is a note on the conjoint leaf written by Aldo Noseda stating that the letter is to the 'Gentile Signorina de Bittencourt', dated Monte Carlo, 1916.
