NIGHTINGALE, Florence (1820-1910). Reformer of nursing.
Signature with subscription cut from the foot of a letter and laid down at the foot of a photograph of Florence Nightingale, 'ca 1855' in another hand. Signature and photograph are laid down on the remains of an album leaf, measuring 145 x 105mm (ca. 6 x 4 inches). A little soiled.

If the date is correct, the photograph was taken whilst Florence Nightingale was in Scutari.
