MEDIEVAL DOCUMENT - Hampshire A very attractive charter of the late thirteenth century, 105 x 205 mm. (4 x 8 inches), a few very small holes and stains not affecting the text Seal tag (no seal). A charter by which Hugh Le Ibule grants to John de Sandford and his heirs a piece of land at Kingeslie [Kingsley] between the land of William the preached to the west and that of John de Sandford and towards the land of Hosbert [Osbert] Atterbrech, 12 perches in length and 5 feet wide, for 2 silver pennies and supertunic of bluet. Witnessed by William le Fitzwalter, John atte more, Richard atte more, Henry atte rede, and others. ca. 1275. Early endorsement: 'A deed from John [sic] of Bule / to John of Sandford.
