Autograph Letter (third person) to W.H. Elliston at the Theatre Royal, 1 page 4to with integral address-leaf and red wax seal, 28 Store Street, 26 February [1820]. Ordering three tickets 'to see Mr Kean'.

One wonders if she had confused Henry Twiselton Elliston (1801?-1864, musical composer & inventor) with his father, Robert William Elliston (1774-1831), the actor.

Clara Pope was the third wife of the actor Alexander Pope (1763-1835) and the widow of the painter Francis Wheatley (1747-1801).
