Letter Signed to the 'Clerk of the Peace of the Gaol Delivery for the County of Middl[ese]x', 1 page folio, 12 December 1749. A warrant for the entering of a 'Noli prosequi' in the case of Samuel Jordan, accused of forging the will of John Denton.

A Noli prosequi or 'unwilling to pursue', is an order to abandon prosecution.
