Autograph Letter Signed to C.J. Thompson, 2 pages 8vo with blank leaf, Chatsworth, 17 October 1857. Apologising for not having answered his letter on account of his absence on the Continent, and asking Thompson to come to Chatsworth 'as soon as you can make it convenient'.
