LOUISE CAROLINE ALBERTA (1848-1939). Duchess of Argyll, fourth daughter of Queen Victoria.
Early Autograph Letter Signed ('Louise') to Mr Martin, 3 pages 8vo (leaves separated with slight loss to the margins), Osborne, 18 May 1867. Written during the time that the young Louise was acting as her mother's unofficial secretary, thanking Martin profusely for autographs ('they will be of immense value to me'), and sending thanks also from her brother Leopold.
