MACREADY, William Charles (1793-1873). Actor. Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed correspondent ('My dear Sir'), 1 page 13.5 x 8.5 cm. (5 x 3½ inches), Sherborne House, 1 February 1860. on black-edged paper, laid down on the remains of an album leaf, with Macready's monogram at the head. '... I really cannot at present ascertain precisely the extent of my last professional engagement at Cardiff, but I should think, that it would have been limited to three nights'.
