Document Signed ('George R') at the head, countersigned by George Canning, 4½ pages folio, embossed paper seal, blue ribbon, gilt edges, given at Windsor, 4 Nov 1823. Requiring the Chancellor to affix the Great Seal to an instrument of commission. The Commission in question appoints George Hamilton Seymour Secretary to the Legation to 'The Most Serene Sovereign Princes and Free Towns composing the Germanic Confederation'.
