DISRAELI, Benjamin (1804-1881). Prime Minister 1868 and 1874-1880.
Brief Autograph Note Signed ('D') to Aug[ustus Stafford] O'Brien (1811-1857), 1 page 8vo (oblong) with addressee's name on the reverse, no date. Inviting O'Brien to breakfast the following day to meet 'Tom Moore, Bulwer & a few others'.
The exact date of this literary gathering could probably be deduced from the internal evidence. Disraeli gives 'tomorrow' as 'Tuesday June 3'. Between 1830 and 1851 (Moore died in 1852) June 3 was a Tuesday six times.
