Letter Signed to the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury, 1 page 4to with integral address-leaf and remains of a red wax seal, Whitehall, 25 September 1744. asking for the sum of £20 to be paid to the Reverend Mr William Gibbs who has been appointed 'a Minister in the Province of New England in America', the monies to be used to defray the cost of his passage thither.
